Glow Spin Glossary
A plain-English reference for the terms used in Glow Spin. The gameplay example below shows the coloured ring surrounding its centre target.

- Blitz
- A timed mode with a selectable 60, 120, or 300-second duration. See Classic vs. Blitz.
- Classic
- An endless mode with increasing difficulty. See the mode comparison guide.
- Combo
- A sequence of consecutive correct matches used to grow the multiplier. See scoring and combos.
- Double Points
- A power-up that doubles points earned while active. The 500 shipped level files configure its active window from 7 to 12 seconds. See the power-up guide.
- Level
- A configuration in the shipped sequence of 500 level files. See levels and difficulty.
- Multiplier
- The scoring factor that grows with consecutive correct matches and is capped at 5x. See scoring and combos.
- Power-up
- An in-game tool such as SlowMo or Double Points. See the power-up guide.
- Segment
- One coloured slice of the rotating ring. The matching segment is tapped to answer the centre target. See how to play.
- SlowMo
- A power-up that reduces rotation speed by 65% while active. The 500 shipped level files configure its active window from 3 to 6 seconds. See scoring and power-ups.
- Spinning ring
- The rotating set of coloured segments around the centre target. See how to play.
- Target color
- The colour shown at the centre of the play area; the player taps the matching ring segment. See how to play.
- Timed challenge
- A play session that ends when its chosen time limit expires, as in Blitz. See Classic vs. Blitz.
